The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Garmsar city said: the Eyvanekey caravanserai is being renovated by the private sector.

According to the Fars news agency from Semnan, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Tourism Heritage and Handicrafts of Semnan province, Mahvash Kamali in the tourism working group of Garmsar city stated: There are 70 registered works in Eyvanekey and they are part of the works in the city and have private owners. We are having trouble restoring these works.

Noting that the Eyvanekey Caravanserai is being renovated by the private sector, he added: “The private sector investor is applying for investment and should be considered.”

The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Garmsar city announced the restoration of the paved road and the Bahram Palace Caravanserai and said: there are eight handicraft workshops active in Garmsar.

The governor of Garmsar also said in this meeting: Garmsar has significant industrial, mineral and agricultural and tourism capacities.

Saeed Mottaqi, pointing out that good measures have been taken in the government in the fields of tourism, etc., added: “These achievements have provided the ground for reverse migration to cities.”

In this meeting, the files of investment projects and investment opportunities in Garmsar were reviewed.
